Fire alarm at Hatchery Road care facility canceled, then re-reported

5601 Hatchery, Waterford · Oct 31, 2026, 1:17 PM

Waterford fire crews were sent to a general fire alarm at 5601 Hatchery, near the pavilion entrance. The alarm company canceled the call and the responding squad was told to disregard. About ten minutes later, a caller reported that someone at the facility with a change in mental status kept pulling the alarm, and asked crews to return to the pavilion entrance, room 123. A squad and a rescue were then shown responding, and the radio did not say how the call ended.
