Fire alarm at South Telegraph Road restaurant

2209 South Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Twp · Nov 6, 2026, 12:18 AM

Nothing found

Crews checked and found nothing. Fire units were sent just after midnight to a fire alarm at a McDonald's in the 2200 block of South Telegraph Road, called in by staff. Crews found no smoke or flames and people outside the single-story restaurant. A carbon monoxide alarm was the only one showing, but a monitor read zero inside, and crews looked at a CO2 system for the kitchen equipment as a possible source. Crews got the alarm to reset, and staff were told to have the system serviced in the morning before units cleared.
