Waterford · Oct 30, 2026, 6:08 AM

Waterford fire crews were sent early Friday morning to a report of a wire down on a roadway. A responding unit reported a wire on the road with no arcing or sparking seen. The location was unclear on the radio, though it appeared to be on or near Mechanic, and dispatch asked for a better location. Later traffic mentioned a cable line, but the radio did not make clear how the call ended.
