Fire crews check four-story hotel in West Bloomfield

West Bloomfield · Oct 30, 2026, 6:50 PM

Crews responded to a four-story hotel in West Bloomfield and reported nothing showing on arrival. The first engine took command and investigated from the outside while a tower and other units prepared to respond. Crews checked floors inside and reported a smoke detector blinking red on the third floor. Command said the first engine could handle the call and released the other responding units; the radio did not give a street address or a final cause.
