Residential fire alarm draws crews in West Bloomfield

East Rock Mat, West Bloomfield · Oct 30, 2026, 10:17 AM

Fire crews were sent to a residential alarm on what the radio transcribed as East Rock Mat in West Bloomfield. The first engine reported arriving at a medium-sized, two-story, multi-unit building with nothing showing and said crews were investigating. A second engine and a rescue unit also appeared to respond, and the radio indicated one engine was clear while the rescue unit remained on scene. Later traffic suggested units were returning to quarters, but the radio did not give a cause for the alarm.
