I-96 east of Meadowbrook, Novi · Nov 1, 2026, 9:10 AM

Novi fire crews and an ambulance were sent to westbound I-96 east of Meadowbrook Road for a reported two-car accident, with a passerby saying one person was lying on the ground. Police then reported it appeared to be someone changing a tire, and one engine was cancelled. The other engine continued to the scene to help get the vehicle off the road, and an ambulance arrived. The ambulance later reported it was back in service after taking one patient to Corewell in Farmington Hills, though the radio did not say whether that patient was tied to the original report.
