No ads, no ad trackers, no accounts.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, doesn't track you across sites and collects no personal data; it reports page views, referring sites and rough location, in aggregate.

When you tap Near me, your phone asks whether this site may use your location. If you allow it, the distances are worked out on your phone. Your location is never sent to us or saved anywhere, and it's forgotten when you close the page.

The towns you pick are saved only in your browser, so they're still picked next time you visit.

Alerts aren't open yet. When they open, your address will be used only to send the alerts you pick, through the service we use to deliver email. Every email will have a one-click unsubscribe.

Cloudflare hosts the site and sees normal web traffic, as any host does. The map is drawn from OpenFreeMap's servers, which see the same kind of request. Our own server doesn't keep a log of visits.
